Plus, a 400-page guide to re-enacting the historical events surrounding the liveries above. Each scenario provides the following guidance:
* Real-life background information and/or a creative situation presentation
* Aircraft payload and fuel weight requirements
* An aircraft failure rate appropriate to the airframe age at the time of the event
* Start, intermediate and ending locations at default X-Plane airports ...no add-on scenery is required
* Detail flight plans specifying the route, flight parameters and potentially other requirements
* One or more graphical navigation references, each with an associated online map provided by skyvector.com
* Revelation of the real-life outcome of the scenario
* Bibliographic and circumstantial references
Other features of the Flight Scenarios guide include:
* The Portable Document Format (PDF) file allows a rich presentation across many hardware platforms
* A fully populated Table of Contents
* Three lists of the scenarios sorted by region, duration and difficulty to provide quick access to a desirable scenario
* Over 130 embedded Internet links
* Numerous photographs of related real-life subjects
* Many images derived from screenshots of X-Plane activity
* Separate instructions for the setup of custom navigation aids (in the form of Non-Directional Beacons within the simulator), which are required to successfully complete five of the scenarios
Also, two bonus liveries associated with the list above:
31. N19924, supposedly seized by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency but for which no additional information could be learned
32. N87664 (again), when it served the legitimate Canadian carrier Millardair and was registered as C-GGCS
