I decided to improve it because it showed me really good potential but I wasn't totaly satisfied. Initially it was a personnal project but it became bigger and bigger so I decided to share my work with the community.

A Learjet 31, 60 + 60XR, Gulfstream G-IV-SP, A340-200, -300, -500, -600 and a DC-9-10 through the -50. All of them with accurate 3D modelling with each small detail modelled apart from each variant and sub-variant, study-level systems, FMOD sounds to be as close to the real plane
Definitely aching to see an update to the X-Craft E175. Nobody has ever been able to render the 170/175 (at least in regard to flaps/wing/engine shape) correctly except the original Wilco Feelthere release. I dunno, definitely winner of the most abused aircraft (or should that be the 787? Abacus.)
The next release of OpenSceneryX - v4.0.0 - is big, and includes some major new features:
Seasons
Integration of aircraft into X-Plane's static aircraft system
Lots of new content
Ability to customise the Backup Library
I am therefore taking the unusual step of asking for testers for a pre-release version, as this release is so huge it has the potential to break things. Both normal simmers and scenery designers are welcome.
If you want to join in, please post a reply here:

Could you possibly link me those posts, I've seen the "don't harass developers" mantra banded about a few times, but not actually seen any examples of what this means.
That said, as a developer, I would absolutely HATE the idea that someone who has an interest in something I developed - even freeware - might keep their mouth shut for fear of "being harassing".
If something is broken, I need to know, If something isn't clear, I need to know. If something is a super desirable feature I definitely need to know.
I simply cannot imagine how any situation can arise where a developer f
Hi Guys,
My name is Manfred, I'm from Austria and since the first Sim from SubLogic I am an enthusiastic flight simulator fan.
Since 2017 I use X-Plane and can not imagine a better Sim.
I am pleased to be here.
Hi Anne,
glad to see more C++ developers here on Threshold!
The directory structure of X-Plane plugins is a little confusing because there are several different approaches that evolved with different X-Plane versions. Since you are using Visual Studio, the starting point of the plugin deployment should be the DLL file generated by the Visual Studio compiler, let's assume it's called plugin.dll. Now there are different approaches of what you can do to get the plugin into X-Plane, here are three common ones:
rename plugin.dll to anything you'd like but replace the file extension
For those looking for an easy and efficient way to search for freeware & payware releases of airport scenery, I've found this link to be very helpful! Just input the ICAO of the airport you wish to search and press enter.
Well... I found this section a bit too late I think… and I already created a topic in the payware sceneries section, so I link to there:

I hope this is okay,
