Bought in at the start of version 1.10 and always been amazed at the different sky scapes and sky colours X Enviro produces with Its own weather engine, all this on a middle of the road desk top, looks so real and the new rendition looks to even surpass this, really looking forward to this version, are the frame rates still looking respectable in your opinion and are you slipping in any surprises for us that you would of liked to do in previous versions.

Hi guys been very quiet around here in recent months, would be nice to hear from captain kitten on progress of version Xenviro 1.17 particularly if the spherical buffer trials worked out as planned.

Hear what you’re saying, but I have also noticed similar using x-planes real weather, is it possible that the weather predictions aren’t as accurate as we think for local areas, particularly concerning visibility/ haze, or is our monitors adjusted with too much contrast, you probably have seen the pictures of visibility shots on page 5 of this thread that Magnus put up for us, what do you think.

Hello Magnus this is the first time I have had a chance to read through the 1.14 development thread from start to finish, I found it very interesting and great to see the ever changing imagers you put up, on the 24th of March you speak of the performance path you guys have taken and through this thread the setbacks you have had to overcome, because of this how far along the performance path are you now, are you where you want to be in other words. One thing I’ve wanted to mention for a long time, but didn’t want people to think I was going nuts, whilst flying back to my home island late last summer I could see a fogbank rolling in, which rolled over and hid the smaller islands leaving the main island in sunshine, later that evening I fired up X plane with X enviro 1.10, not even thinking about what had happened earlier in the day, X Enviro 1.10 was displaying this behaviour in game, my son who had been at sea all day could not believe what we were witnessing, have you ever seen this in game yourself or even aware this could axially happen.

Hello Captain Kitten, I don’t know if you can or want to mention anything on the Vulcan 3d clouds situation as mentioned by Ben Supnik in his blog last month, it was certainly quite a surprise, anyway looking to the future of Xenviro.

Hello captain Kitten have you decided to introduce those cloud reflections due to aircraft lights.

One for you Magnus, don’t think your ticket system is working can’t seem to get through, using Flight Factor a320 wx radar worked in default x-plane 11 weather environment, but since the introduction of xenviro 1.10, I can switch the radar on, it will do its self-test sweep and produce a crash to desktop. No error showing in xenviro log text, but x-plane log ends with error opening dump file whatever that means. Incidentally very nice add-on fantastic graphics, weather portrayal pretty good to, look forward to any streamlining and possible frame rate improvement, I’m on 4k don’t half look good.
