  1. You do realize that conversations evolve over time, right? I can read too.
  2. When can we expect an update? At very least to fix minor issues. That might be more productive than telling us that we shouldn't be handing out pragmatic advice in the forums. Especially since messing something up only requires a reinstallation of the aircraft to fix.
  3. It sure would be nice if the RTE 2 page worked.
  4. Porpoising is basically an up and down motion. Similar to how a dolphin jumps in and out of the water when it's happy. The issue really stems from the plane incorrectly chasing VNAV markers with the yoke rather than pitch trim.
  5. Autoland, for one. The NG kept dropping me well short of the touchdown markers on the KSFO ILS 28L approach. It also spends less time chasing VNAV markers with yoke inputs and more time chasing them with pitch trim. There's still room for improvement there but the porpoising issue is noticeably better.
  6. Why is the altitude intervention button modeled on the Zibo but not the LevelUp?
  7. @WN73G This is me transitioning from Turnaround (at gate, with GPU running) to ready for pushback (on APU) Key points: Battery is ON ELEC 1&2 are ON Fuel pumps are ON (needed to start APU)
  8. Well for starters, not all of us have hardware. I had to mine to simply so that I could handle the mouse yoke and engage the AP simultaneously. Secondly, please take your flight sim elitism to another forum. This is an inclusive space, for people with diverse backgrounds and varying skill sets.
  9. You might have a button bound to something that's doing this. Anecdotally, I had a similar issue a long time ago. I was using WASD in external view to pan around in the A320 Ultimate and as soon as I touched the keyboard, the plane's autopilot would disengage and then it would go into a steep bank.
  10. Turn on experimental flight model in your X-Plane settings.
  11. PSA: Copying the zibomod folder from your aircraft/737-800X/plugins folder over to your NG LevelUp installation's plugin folder also fixes a bunch of issues with the flight model.
  12. These airframes are based on Zibomod. Zibo works in VR so these should too. I haven't actually tried it yet on my Oculus (excuse me, "META") Quest 2 yet, so as always, YMMV.
  13. Copy the aircrafts/737-800X/plugins/zibomod folder (the entire folder) over to your NG's plugin folder. Let it overwrite any existing files. Updating the 737NG to the latest version of Zibomod fixes a few issues with the flight model.
  14. Make sure all four of the ELEC switches are in the down position. They're midway down on the third row. I've not had any issues in the -700 and that's the variant I've completed most of my flights on. The flaps won't work if you don't have hydraulic pressure. In other words, you cannot move them unless at least one engine is running.
  15. Do you have the same problem in any other aircraft? Check your sound settings in X-Plane and on the EFB
  16. Copying things over from Zibomod to get this plane working is definitely a fix for a bunch of problems.
  17. All you need to do is drag the zibomod folder from aircrafts/737-800X/plugins/ to the same spot in your 737Ng folder.
  18. You need to make sure BOTH radios are tuned into the correct ILS frequency and are active. If you don't have the FO-side set up properly; as you've noted, CMD B will take over once engaged.
  19. Also make sure you actually have VNAV constraints in your FMS. CMD won't engage if there aren't altitude and speed restrictions in your waypoints.
  20. Autoland doesn't seem to be working right either. The approach is never stabilized and the plane keeps floating up and down in an effort to maintain the G/S After I landed, I couldn't move the throttles so I couldn't taxi off the runway.
  21. The LevelUp 737 has an issue with the flight displays. When I set the FO side lower DU switch to ND (nav display) I get the Eng PRI display instead.
