So TIRED of waiting .
Good things take time! I'd rather have a polished, ready-for-the-public version rather than a half-hearted, hardly working update.

Seem extremely interested on where questions are asked than answering the actual questions. What is it with specifically X-Plane forums that people are so darn anal about where things are posted? Such a ridiculous and minuscule thing to rant over, to be honest. Sure shows a lack of professionalism and customer service. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'd say xEnviro is in the business to make money. Being obnoxious toward customers over where they are asking questions would cause alarm to me if you worked in my company. Just sayin.
To be clear, I'm not on the xEnviro team - that's @Captain Kitten, therefore I'm not qualified to answer your questions
We're pretty loose on what gets posted here in general, but I recommend the other section for the sole purpose that's it's easier for the team to keep track of. 19 pages of various screenshots and questions can get a bit lost and can go unanswered (especially at the moment, Magnus is very busy). The "Discussions" section is much more likely to yield an answer, which makes it easier for the user and the devs.
I am sorry if I came off as pushy in that post, believe me in saying that wasn't the intention. I've edited it to add a "please" as it does read a bit sternly lol

Just a gentle reminder that this is a development screenshot thread.
If you’d like to ask any questions of the dev team, please ask in the “Discussions” subforum.

You are profoundly mistaken. I bought the product personally from one of the authors. Anyway, that's what he calls himself in the source, from which I learned about the product at the end of 2016. Proof: http://forum.simrussia.com/index.php?/topic/1009-xenviro/&do=findComment&comment=143097
However, judging by what you wrote, the simple questions you perceive almost consumer extremism, which does not add, in my opinion, you customer focus. In the end, the economic interest ultimately depends on the location of the authors to the buyers, including the potential, which you do not demonstrate. And if this topic created only for admiration screenshots, then show me the one where I can write about the problems.
General discussions for xEnviro go in the "Discussions" section of this sub-forum. Here's a link: https://forum.thresholdx.net/forum/61-discussions/.
It's important to note that this forum is not an area for support. If you need support from xEnviro, use the ticketing system on the website: http://www.xenviro.net/support/

That's nice to hear, but it won't be compatible with X-Vision right?
Not officially.
Of course you'd be free to try it, and it might well "work" to a degree, but both xEnviro and xVision are plugins that reach deep into X-Plane's internals and so conflicts would be expected.

I know its probably an annoying question to answer but what is the release projection?
There is no official release target per-se. A realistic estimate could be the tail-end of Q1, perhaps beginning of Q2. Again, that is 100% subject to change and could be pulled forwards or pushed back.

If the clouds are too "flat", what do you call these???
On a separate note, when is the expected open beta? I know you guys mentioned Q1.
There won’t be an open beta for 1.10. Once closed beta is done, it will release.

Up to now, I havent seen any towering clouds either. As seen in the previous pictures only flat clouds. Work in progress till 2022 with 1500 betas..
As you may or may not have seen during the recent bout of livestreams, Magnus mentions that towering clouds are not present in the beta versions *yet*. There were present in internal test builds, however, they will be one of the later additions in the beta.

As always never flying through clouds. Clouds are relatively flat, lacking height and thickness, Just my thoughts.
Here's a video from way earlier in the development process (before beta even) of the FF A320 flying through the clouds. As such, stutters, artifacts and frame drops are not representative of the final product.

Does snow accumulate on aircraft surfaces while parked at the gate?
No. It's up to the aircraft developer to implement a system that displays snow on your aircraft

I dont know 1.08 history but you are agreeing to the purchase of the program by seeing it already. Nobody is forcing you. Bugs can be improved over time. In addition to this nothing is perfect with Xplane. Zibo updates sein plane almost every two day too. But we can fly and play with it at the same time. Xenviro 1.10 release strategy is not really good to improve it developer need one year? Two or three years? Believe me it has still bugs after it is completed. We are the user and consumer, only we can find bugs by playing and give info to the developer like ZIBOMOD. He improves his plane according to players. I appreciate him.
This my idea and stay same. Thanks.
I agree that the "work-in-progress" releases work very well for Zibo and his 737, however with a payware product, it works less well. People expect a 100% finished product on release day, and that is why the previous releases of xEnviro got such poor reception - they still had many bugs and had the team not been pressured into a release, these would have been fixed.
However, this issue is not up for debate. xEnviro 1.10 will be released when the developers feel the product is ready, no sooner.

Hi Captain, in this development phase when you release it is also playable. In which level we see from the pictures. The next shortcomings can also be completed by updating soon. so those who want to buy will not have to wait long time, including myself. there is no end of waiting and writing an excellent program. already updates will always be published.
Thanks
1.10 won't be released until it is absolutely ready. The team tried the tactic you described with the release of v1.08 (unfinished, WIP release), and that got awful reception as a result.

Cpt Kitten can you elaborate if possible on what you guys are working on for the night environment?
Night Environment will not be implemented in 1.10 - it will come later in the update cycle.

Those last pics are stunning. Any Reshade presets used to obtain that image in sim?
Sorry, should have added a disclaimer - yes the last set are using a medley of MaxxFX and Reshade

DEC 12 2018 : HOUSEKEEPING
Getting everything ready to start the beta run. Cleaning up the code, fine tuning of the components, closing pending tasks. You may find that our change log gets updated almost daily.
So I think I can see it soon, is it?Is it before Christmas?
That would be a huge surprise!!!
One thing is for sure - it won't be before Christmas. The internal test team still have testing to do before handing off to the beta team. After that, it will likely release in Q1 of next year.
