N614FF is a Boeing 747-238B which operated with Tower Air from the 20th of July, 1994, to the 3rd of February, 1997, when it was leased out to Continental Micronesia and scrapped sometime around 2010. Initially, this aircraft was ordered by Qantas under the registration VH-EBE. Qantas returned the aircraft to Boeing in 1986, and a few months later, PEOPLExpress received it bearing the registration N609PE. PEOPLExpress merged with Continental in 1987, leaving Continental with control of N609PE. In 1991, Continental re-registered the aircraft to N10024, and 3 years later in 1994, Tower Air leased the 747, re-registering it to N614FF. Tower Air had it for 3 years. In that span, N614FF wore 2 different liveries, both all white with Tower Air written on the tail and the fuselage, however, it also operated a livery where Tower Air was not written on the fuselage, likely after they had just leased the aircraft. In 1997, Tower air returned the aircraft and it was then given to Continental Micronesia, who would be the last operator of it, until 2008, when a TV show used it for a stunt where a controlled dynamite explosion took place on the plane. It was later completely scrapped in 2010. This livery is not mine, however the original creator, who is my very good friend, has allowed me to upload it on behalf of him. Installation Instructions After downloading the file, head to your X-Plane 11 directory, and find your Felis 747 folder. (X-Plane 11 > Aircraft > Laminar Research/Extra Aircraft > 747 Felis 1.0.X) Drag and drop the according livery into your Liveries folder. Enjoy your new livery!
