  1. Youve either changed the name of the ACF or something in the Authors section of the ACF that the plugin needs to function. Or your copy of the 320 was corrupted. You'll have to start again. Copy the FF320 folder load it up first check it works then do the mod. But don't change the file name of the acf or anything but the UI name of the authors panel. Thats the first box at the top.

Thanks for the feedback - I checked again, there are no spaces in the kill dataref fields.

Attached is a screenshot of the last 7 rows of the 'Misc Objects' portion of the ACF; with the two rows (for engines.obj and blades.obj) having been removed by pressing their associated 'clear' button.

kinda looks like you have a space at the front of the anim/CFM

Many thanks for the response - except  I did what the manual specified and got the result illustrated - IAE engines showing when CFM option specified in the livery config file.

BTW I put the 3 new CFM mods rows below the 4 new IAE rows as no specific ordering was detailed

I think I'll just use separate acf files for each engine variant (i.e. the standalone route)

    Thanks again,

    Chris.

That is up to you if you want to separate them but it does work, I have it set that way on my acf, if its not removing the engine then you either have a spelling mistake in the kill dataref or an extra space somewhere in the texture box there should be.

    Hi there,

Attempting to add the new CFM56 mod to an A319 acf which already has the V2500 mod applied; and on CFM variants, the new V2500s are showing in addition to the new CFMs -

I'm wondering if we need to set a different 'Kill dataref' values, as it looks like using 'anim/IAE' (as described in the manual) would remove the 'default' IAE engines & not the new (V2500 Mod) ones?

Following the manual and use the anim/iae, there is a reason why its should be done that way.

  5. You gonna need to provide more info I can't access that discord link. Also this is visual mod no sound included I can't help you with that. Plus this is a visual mod it has no interaction with the planes functionality, if your plane is not working due to installation, its because you've not installed it correctly or manipulated the ACF incorrectly or you've had a corruption in copying your plane. I suggest starting from scratch.

I guess now it's time to make a Trent 700 for the JD330 cause the original T700s are somewhat broken and they look unrealistic as well.

No point with Xplane NG around the corner with a better looking 330 with RRs.

  7. Aye looks like you've not edited some objects correct - starting fresh can help or you can review your objects. Make sure you've edited them correctly.

Hello, it's possible to have a mod for the RR Trent 800 engines for the FF 777-200ER? from all mods this has been forgotten by the people

FF need to bring out V2 before I look at any mods for the 777. Not worth for its current state.

  10. Yo All, I've pinned a topic for you guys to post a suggestion of what engine you'd like to see made and for what bird and I'll consider that model/aircraft.

Please don't include A350 engine as I've had to scratch that off due to it having wing/engine flex that may make it impossible to replace.
