  1. Thank you for valuable information @Neil_R Yes I know this work thing now; since posted I've been hired and are working full time (ironically just got off shift) after layed off from obvious Rona Chan.
  2. @Neil_R Thanks for your input; and so I've seen. I have updated to 3.2.0RC4 recently, just haven't tried it in Vulkan, though it is natively supported with 3.2.0+. Have you tried the Ground Route Generator by any chance? Now, as you said, the normal way of adding ground routes is deprecated (Use "Dynamic Ground Routes" within the WT3 interface) I read about the more advanced and in-depth the Airport Operations File is, some users have reported that its recommended to "fill in the basic needs" and let WT3 do the rest. Right now I'm trying to grapple my head around runway operations & spacing. The current spacing usually leads to a few go-arounds and near misses from the take-off plane. As well as planes stopping at the hold-short line for a lil while and then deciding to enter the active. This is especially true for airfields in Norway which have single runway operations with turnaround and the need to back track. Is it normal for landing planes to disappear after landing? These are just some of my questions. I know there's a dedicated subforum on the org that has support. But I ask here. I am really enjoying WT3. I have yet to find an AI package emulating AI like this.
  3. Thanks for the manual zip folder. Also stuck on automatic installation of 2.2.6.
  4. Greetings friends, I created this thread in the hopes and request of sharing insight to testing of "World Traffic 3 Ground Routes & Operations" files. On basis of upgrading, testing, information, tips&tricks to the said WT3 files for better support to freeware airports. It seems the latest stable v3.1.9 ships with the opportunity to test its AI traffic capabilities, but if the airport does not come with defined parking assignments and taxi routes/flow, there will be no life at the airport outside of the active runway(s). Much to the rise of SAM vs. Autogate debate, its also adds to the discussion of WT3 support to addons. I am no expert compared to the likes of Capt.K-Man for instance. But would like to get a few freeware airports to the greater Scandinavia working with World Traffic. There is a Windows based application on the org that creates Ground Routes for WT3. Very alpha v.0.7. Hosted on GitHub. Is Opensource. WT3 Taxi routes/flows/parking assignments are defined in World Editor. Overlay Editor removes static aircraft simply, fast and efficiently. The fastest of all additions mentioned here. Airport Operations need to be added and defined manually via text editor. WT3 can be used with AIRAC cycles & Navigraph via the FMS Data Manager. I would use WT3 in OpenGL for now. Vulkan is coming - but not quite there yet. I hope to see more users come out of the shadows to discuss WT3 here and/or testing of files. Are there any users of World Traffic here on Threshold? What are your opinions? What would you like to be discussed or explained in order for better usage of this (superb might I add) addon?
  5. ini shouldn't have marketed the A300(s) as VR compatible. It also seems to the naked eye that they are hesitant in making their products nativeVR compatible moving forward too.
One does not have to have a brain to know this is a welcomed addition to the community.
  6. Great, now we just need Paris de Gaulle, Heathrow and Schipol-Amsterdam to complete the "grand airport set" of Europe; seeing El Prat, Madrid, Munich, Frankfurt are already here. Aaaaaand latest news of Glasgow being added to the dev. list.
  7. I started with FS98 and FS2000, but my hayday was really FS9 and FS9.1. Lately X-Plane has been solace with its interesting flight models and classics availability.
  8. Interesting rank degrade from First Class to Stowaway Class. Thanks for the punishment, whoops, lol.
  9. Kalitta Air Cargo and Lufthansa (all three classic through current livery). Thank you in advance.
  10. Well spotted! Maybe get a library or gateway version of this airfield first, then talk extensions?
  11. It is possible, but needs to be manually converted and then configured for each airport and their gates, ramps, hangars etc. How specifically, I wouldn't know at this time. Join the SAM club and ask there as user @Full-Flightsuggests. Or watch a few of Captain K-Mans videos on Youtube. Happy hunting!
  12. A welcome addition to FSE & GA lovers alike. The pictures depict great care and represent attention to detail in creating the modifications needed. The list on the org is thoroughly written; check that out and you can see & feel the love put into this. I wouldn't say feature, but I can smell it... just like kerosine in the morning! It is a modification. I know a few payware products that should take note. Aaaaand updates inbound. Get it, if GA is your thing. This is not a just a respray.
  13. Indeed, if we can't fly, fly can come to us!
  14. Really good non-clickbait title. Free travel indeed.
  15. @fermonroA bit late, but here's an explanation for NO2 provider. Should be similar for Eniro. If unsure, check Kitten/Magnus´first post on this thread.
  16. When & if JustFlight release their B4 model. Source: JustFlight
  17. 7zip also decompresses & extracts .rar files, no? But as you said, you wont get into the story.
  18. Nothing in your X-Plane -> Resources -> Plugins folder either remotely related to installation of SAM?
No issues on Windows client. Works as advertised. Some paths need to be setup manually. No biggie.
  19. Think he just released PW engines for the JAR A330.
  20. Absolutely @Herr_Hornbuckele... that should intrigue Carda. If the systems are already in place, then all we need is the model. In other unpopular opinion, how can payware releases botch the engine models? On a plus side that would allow the magic of Carda to instill.
  21. Exactly. Suggest this thread being closed - and thanks for removing solicited content.
  22. I think the JAR 330 is CEO and the Trent 7000s are for the NEOs, which is a new equipment type in itself? Btw here is a wild suggestion: default MD-80. lol!
  23. I have to agree the 777 engines needs some love most definitively. But if I would have to select & vote, then it would be for RB 211 engines on the 747. Don't take my words on it though Carda. Modding these engines would need a small flight model update, no?
