dkabob
well considering this $70 software has been useless for the years I have had it it would be a nice good faith gesture. It hasn't been installed on my system for over a year because I fly in 4k. Im done with you guys...good luck in the future. 1

Bakr
Are their any nearby plans for XE to Mold the feed of Metar Data with the landscape obstacles such as mountains/hills/buildings - similar to the competition? such as (https://www.reddit.com/r/flightsim/comments/dbhxrb/this_picture_of_ridge_lift_in_msfs2020_looks/) Edited February 23, 2020 by Bakr

Since xE team has said many times of the limitations that X-Plane have regarding to what they can do.
Bakr
One Day, flight sim world will go beyond VR into Augmented Reality,,, just imagine the airplane and thunder storm in the middle of your living room (or Empty Garage) cant think of XP without XE -- very eager to see both platforms progressing and getting beyond the transformation streamlining and optimization phase... jfwharton
Looking forward to 1.14 when it gets released. I hope they get the haze fixed as right now most of the time I don't use 1.13 because the haze is too heavy. Like flying around in a fog. Captain Kitten
We are at a crossroad where we have to decide a couple of things before we go ahead with the beta. I won't go in to details on what the differences are between T32 and T33 but this is where we're at. We won't rush this decision and will sleep on it for a cpouple of days. We want to make this right. All in all we're at a solid 10-15 fps increase over the board. The images show xEnviro before we finalize the details and make the clouds look "pretty" so don't take this as final look. As mentioned - a side effect of one of the performance paths was larger render volume (oddly enough ) As said: do not take these as final look (Screenshots take away 20 fps... ) I'll let you know when beta has started. 2

manfredd
I've startet with xEnviro with X-Plane 10. Back then it was a great improvement. With X-Plane 11 the big problems started for me. The FPS drops were so big that it was impossible to fly with xEnviro. It has been working again since 1.13 and I cannot and do not want to imagine it without xE. Looking forward to 1.14 and can't wait. Many thanks to you for the great work.

Bakr
this is really starting to satisfy next-gen expectations and be on a competitive player. Needs more tweaking for shadows (clouds casting shadow on clouds to achieve sense of depth) and light scattering (maybe scattering algorithms are out of scope of XE and rather an XP core); FPS looks GREAT.... ashmanmedia
I just cannot believe my eyes... especially the resolution of that screenshot at 64fps. 1070 Magnus too? 4k users like I should see improvments.

No, this is a 2080ti - but we're still at the same performance gain as before. approx 10 fps gain from 1.13. Still not certain that it will hold until the end but we hope.
