We see an increase of email addresses that have been compromised through various data breaches and user accounts that are now being used by bots for spamming. This happens when a site has been breached and email addresses and passwords leaked. When the email is also used here, and if the same password is used, bots take over your account and spams our site.
Tip:
- NEVER use the same password on different sites!
- Use a PasswordManager (We recommend Bitwarden - free for personal use - but any is better than none)
