  1. Hi, I need to start by apologizing as I made a huge mistake and forgot to close this forum before moving the support to Discord, which caused me to miss all of the support threads opened here afterwards. I just have been made aware of the situation. In short, Enhanced Skyscapes support has been moved to Discord. Here is the link to the Discord server: https://discord.gg/sYTTueXVaS
  2. Hi, I wasn't even aware of this thread until someone mentioned it to me. I had moved all of the support to Discord which is why I haven't been checking here, but turns out I somehow managed to forget closing the forum, so people kept posting here without getting answers. I'm extremely sorry for this. To answer your question, a Log.txt would be really useful to help me to diagnose the issue. Please join the Discord server linked above so we can further discuss what might be happening. Regardless if the issue cannot be resolved you indeed can get a refund. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. Now I will close the forum to prevent any further confusion.
  3. Hi, thank you for your remarks, I will mention incompatibilites with ARO in the documentation.
  4. Hi, Happy that you were able to exclude Enhanced Skyscapes for your case. If you encounter any more crashes feel free to post a log file.
  5. Hi, Currently the custom sky cannot be turned off as clouds depend on it but I'm working on a workaround for the next update. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience. P.S. Sadly I can be really slow on forums, so I recommend joining the Discord server for the quickest support.
  6. Hi, That is a known issue with X-Plane, the separation between DSF and non-DSF terrain can sometimes be harsh. Enhanced Skyscapes sadly makes this issue significantly more obvious due to its custom sky.
  7. Hi, A few other people have reported the same issue which I have developed a workaround for the upcoming update. For now, could you try reloading the weather at the beginning of the flight just once?
  8. Hi, This sounds weird, do you have a log.txt? Could you also post a list of your add-ons and Lua scripts? It is likely that something is interfering with ES.
  9. Hi, This is sadly an X-Plane "limitation", so currently there is nothing that can be done about it. The same issue also occurs in other add-ons that render a custom sky.
  10. Hi, Thank you for your kind comments. The main reason behind lack of Linux support for Enhanced Skyscapes is the fact that I used Visual C++ as my compiler during the development phase. Turns out this was a big mistake, because Visual C++ allows developers to write non-standard code and not notice it. Right now when I try to compile the code using GCC I get several errors, which were absent when I used Visual C++ instead. Other than that, there are no differences between Windows and Linux, at least in theory. I'm also working on the upcoming update, which will introduce ASXP integration and a bunch of other improvements for rendering artifacts, cloud lighting and cloud shapes, combined with my studies I simply did not have enough time to address these compilation errors. I promise the development will get quite a bit faster in following weeks. Have a nice day!
  11. Hi, Linux support is planned, despite progressing rather slowly as I am very busy with exams and other things I need to handle in my double major. Given you already have the add-on this part does not apply to you, but I would not recommend purchasing it based on the premise of Linux support. I hope this helps and I'm really sorry for the inconvenience.
  12. Hi, This is extremely weird - it is the first time I have heard of such an issue. I would recommend removing other plugins and/or FlyWithLua scripts that might be potentially clashing.
  13. Hi, Has your fix worked? What I mean with my previous comment is that installer itself (not the plugin) needs to reach a folder in C drive, which requires administrator permissions. Maybe this is why you are getting an "access denied" error. However you also mentioned that it still doesn't work with administrator permissions, which is really weird. Do you have screenshots of what's happening?
