Never mind, I was working on an old version (of my A321, which had every Carda REM BUT the LEAPs installed, although I swear I did remember installing those at one point... heh.)
To elaborate on what the previous commenters have said, here's a screenshot. The Carda LEAPs are installed. The engine does come off as a plain white color.
