  1. That's what I was seeing on the FF A320. Anyway, I turned reflections back on and will just get used to the issue. Wasn't planning on getting XP12 when it comes out.
  2. I did some testing with the sun at a low angle. I can barely see the issue on the LR 737. Don't see it on my IXEG 737, X737 or my FF 757. Can see it a little more on the Zibo 737. On my FF A320 I see a yellow sun dot on the displays. And it is so bad on the 737NG that I have turned off window reflections. Is there any way to edit the level of reflection by the glass? The aircraft is fantastic. I just wasn't expecting to see this issue.
  3. OK thanks, but this is the first time I have ever seen this issue.
  4. Was this the correct place to report this issue or is there somewhere I can submit a support ticket?
  5. Today I was doing a flight in the 737-900 ER from KDEN to KMSP and noticed the PFD and MFD were being washed out from a light source. I checked all of the lighting and even turned all lighting off but still noticed the illumination. I then changed the time of day to night and the lighting issue went away. I changed the time back to real time and it came back. I then went to the outside view to check the position of the sun. It was directly behind the aircraft about 10 to 20 degrees above the horizon. So it would appear that the aircraft fuselage is not blocking out the sun in this particular instance, but it is only showing up on the glass.
  6. Any update on this other than "soon"? Is there a link to where I can follow progress on this project?
  7. I checked out the reverse thrust sound on the other 737's I have and all sound the same. So everything is working as it is supposed to. Thank you for your help.
  8. So I just finished my first flight in the 737-900U and was surprised. When I entered reverse thrust the sound was not correct. It was the sound of propellers in reverse, not jet engines in reverse. Kind of disappointing.
  9. I tried something else. Somewhere I read that to load a saved flight plan into the Zibo you first have to enter the departure and arrival ICAO's. I just tried that and then entered the flight play without any extension and it loaded. So that worked. Thank you for the information.
  10. Sorry that doesn't work. I get a load error message.
  11. I downloaded the 737-700U 1910 and the 737-900U 1909 along with the B739U_3_73_5 update. They are installed in separate folders, one for the 737-700U and 737-900U under my aircraft folder. I also have the latest Zibo (3.44) installed in it's own folder and it does not have any issue loading or saving flight plans.
  12. I have downloaded and installed the latest versions of the 737-700U and 900U and am unable to save flight plans or import them. Is there any documentation anywhere that lets me know how to do this?
  13. Hello, This is probably not the proper place for making suggestions but I thought I'd give it a try. There are times when I to into xEnviro settings to confirm what I have set. I have some aircraft that use the Librain plugin for rain and others where I use the xEnviro setting. It would be nice if there were a "Cancel" button when bringing up the xEnviro settings. That way I could check on things without hitting "Done" and wiping out the weather and having to let xEnviro generate it again. Thanks.
  14. So are you saying we will still have seasons, dynamic snow in Open GL? Or will we loose it completely? Seasons and Snow are the main reason that I was so thrilled with xEnviro. If I loose that then I will stop using xEnviro and move on. I hope this will not have to be the case.
  15. Sorry, my bad. I thought I had read something in this thread that a release wasn't expected before the end of the year. Going back through all of the postings I could not find that statement so I was wrong with what I posted above. Sorry.
  16. They mentioned before that it probably won't be out before the end of the year. In the mean time I"ll keep using 1.13 and at times switch over to another weather engine.
  17. The images on page 5 showing the mountains in the background show what I would consider normal haze. What I am seeing in 1.13 is much stronger. It could have something to do with the METAR reports in my area but I see this stronger haze no matter where I fly. Sorry for any frustration I'm displaying but it just doesn't seem right to have such strong haze covering the ground when I'm only 2.000 AGL (Flying at 8,000 ft over terrain that is around 6.000 ft). But enough of this discussion as its taking away from this forums purpose and I shouldn't be doing that.
  18. Yes I understand that. I used to fly for a living. But like what was said above, I also can go outside and in my case take a picture of the Rocky Mountains (I live in Colorado Springs) and show a comparison between the real world conditions and those depicted in xEnviro 1 13. Again the difference is night and day. But perhaps someone could answer this question. I have tried different locations in X Plane 11 to compare the haze levels. I haven't noticed any difference. I live at 6,000 feet. Shouldn't the haze be lower at this altitude than it is at sea level? It isn't in X Plane 11 with xEnviro 1.13.
  19. Hazy conditions are understandable but currently most of the time it's more like flying in fog. So I will be waiting for the release of 1.14 to see if there is an improvement. I hope there is because currently flying in 1.13 is a bit depressing seeing so much haze I can hardly see the ground and that is only flying 4,000 AGL But I have to say that the haze in your screenshots looks very good, so I'm hopeful that when 1.14 gets released I will be happy with the results.
  20. I have asked this a couple of times and have been told that it is being looked into with 1.14. I'm hoping the haze will be reduced as for me right now in 1.13 it seems to be a bit excessive, at least near and in the mountains of Colorado where I fly.
  21. I am using 1.13 in 11.50b11 in OpenGL mode without any issues.
  22. I have been using xEnviro since version 1.07 and am currently using 1.13. I also have another weather engine (won't mention the name). When flying X-Plane 11.41 I am getting for the most part anywhere from 30-60 fps depending on where I'm flying. A little lower in areas such as KSEA where the scenery is much denser. But overall I am happy with the frames I'm getting and that is running 1.13. When I switch to the other weather engine I don't really see much of an increase in fps if any. I do complain about the haze in 1.13 at times and switch over to the other weather engine when it is so bad I can't stand it. But then I realize that the haze in the other engine isn't as strong as it should be and switch back to 1.13 again. So aside from the haze situation (and I understand that is being looked at) I am very happy with xEnviro 1.13. So if you are considering buying it I would say go for it. Yes it isn't perfect, but it definitely has it's advantages. One is the seasonal textures which you can adjust to get very acceptable results. The advantage is that I have default, ortho and custom scenery. xEnviro applies seasonal textures to all of them. I really like the rain effect which works on ALL aircraft. So if you have aircraft that don't support the librain plugin, no worries, xEnviro has you covered. In fact once I stop myself from switching weather engines I plan on removing the librain plugins from all of my aircraft and just use the rain effect in xEnviro. So I don't know what you are talking about when you say the performance is so bad because I haven't noticed that.
  23. Looking forward to 1.14 when it gets released. I hope they get the haze fixed as right now most of the time I don't use 1.13 because the haze is too heavy. Like flying around in a fog.
