  1. PANC - Anchorage Ted Stevens International by Zero Dollar Payware

    Note: V2.0+ is for x-plane 12 only. If you want to use this scenery with x-plane 11 you can download old versions which support x-plane 11 from here. 
    For those who have issues using the SAM plugin, the wed.xml file is included if you still wish to use the scenery and replace the jetways with something else. We do not plan to release a version without SAM, considering it is still universally used among high quality sceneries and there is no good alternative. If this changes in the future we will reconsider. 
    Welcome to Alaska!
    Anchorage International (PANC/ANC) is the largest airport in the state of Alaska and serves as the main link to the lower 48 and Canada. It is the 5th busiest cargo airport in the world and the second busiest in North America. It serves as one of the last true tech stops in the world and provides a place to stop and refuel for more than a dozen cargo operators allowing them to fly between North America and Asia. Anchorage is base to more unique operations that perhaps anywhere else in the world. From the Everts MD-80 freighters to the only civilian C130 operator to some of the oldest flying fleets in the world, you can find just about every retro plane you can think of flying out of Anchorage. 
    This airport has several xplane 11 exclusive features and as such it cannot be assured it will work with older versions. It has been developed for, and tested with, xplane 11 only. 
    I want to give a huge thanks to Alex Siu for tons of help with modeling and texturing of more than 30 buildings around the airport. I am happy to announce the he will be joining the ZDP team to help work on all of our future projects.

    Required Libraries:

    Installation instructions:
    Click the 'Download this file' button on the top right corner of this page, you will be brought to a GitHub page
    Find the version you want to download (the first one listed is the most recent one, download that unless you have a specific reason not to)
    Click the 'Source code' link listed under the version you want to download. Both the .zip and .tar.gz are the same version of the airport, it is just a different type of file compression used, .zip is fine 99% of the time.
    Once you have the file download unzip it and move the folder to your "x-plane 11/Custom Scenery/" folder.
    That is it! If you had xplane running when you installed it you'll have to restart it for it to load. If you are not able to get it to load in the sim once you have it installed then check the section below for troubleshooting tips.
     
    Are there static aircraft?
    Static aircraft are supported by using the default static aircraft in xplane. To enable this, go to the graphics settings and check the "show parked aircraft" box. The gates are coded properly so you will get the correct aircraft type at them, however due to the limitations of default xplane aircraft you may not get the correct airlines. This scenery is entirely open source so if anyone wants to create a standalone package to add static aircraft using an external library I would be happy to feature it on this post. 
     
    X-plane won't load the scenery properly?
    There are a variety of things which can cause you to not be able to load this scenery properly.
    Check that you unzipped the folder before you moved it to your custom scenery folder. If it is still a .zip file then you need to unzip it or it won't work.
    The most likely cause is having missing or out of date libraries. Check the 'Required Libraries' list above to make sure you have everything. Check that if you downloaded any of these libraries a long time ago they you have a new enough version for it to satisfy the requirements, if not then click whichever library you need to update and it will bring you to the page to get the newest version. If you want a easy way to see what library is your issue then find your log.txt in the x-plane 11 folder and scroll down until you see a message with a big box around it and that will tell you where it found the error.
    If you rename your libraries to organize your custom scenery folder check your log.txt and make sure it is not having trouble finding your library. This scenery was designed to not care what you name your folder but it is possible if a library changes that it will mess with the file path and cause issues. If this is the case you can fix it by changing the name back or editing the file(s) with problems to include the new file name (note that this may cause issues with other sceneries and we wouldn't recommend doing it).
    If the tips above did not help then try reading your log.txt and see if you can spot any errors related to the scenery it is throwing. Check the forum to see if anyone else is having your issue, you are probably not alone. If you really cannot figure it out and don't want to spend the rest of your Saturday troubleshooting (we've all done it and know how much it sucks) just send me a PM with your log.txt and we can work through it so you can get back to flying.
     
    Having performance issues or using an older computer?
    This scenery is designed for everyone and as such we have made an effort to optimize it for lower end systems without sacrificing aesthetics or functionality. Even though it is designed to run on lower end machines you might still encounter lag if you have older components or are using other mods which impact frame rates. There are a few improvements you can do to your scenery to further improve performance and tweak it to run the best for your system. 
     
    What does the future of this scenery look like?
    This airport will be undergoing updates as they are needed. Bug fixes will come as they are reported (so report any bugs you find!).  Don't worry if you don't hear anything, there is still development going on at ZDP, just check the discord to get the latest on what is going on behind the scenes. The airport will be getting a high fps variant for lower end machines in the next few days. 
    *The screenshots shown were taken in a modded simulator, you may notice some minor differences. Mods used include world traffic 3 and a variety of payware aircraft.

  2. CYYT Scenery pack XP12 only

    This is XP default gateway scenery of CYYT St Johns Intl Canada from 2018. 
    I have cleaned up most of the airport excessive nodes, objects and merged aprons and taxiways, and corrected groundvehicle-routings, taxiroutings and linemarkings. Added Pavement_FX drains to de-icing area. Because I converted all art assets to XP12, this scenery WILL NOT work in XP11 or older. There is NO backwards compability.  This edit has saved me VRAM as well increased the FPS.
    I run my XP12 with moderate graphic settings with a NVIDIA 3080 card. My vegetation and objects settings are also set to medium. 
    The purpose of this edit is to save VRAM and increase FPS and making the default scenerys more FPS friendly.
    Validated in WED 2.5.2 without any errors. In Cessna at gate I get whopping 116FPS(!) see image.
    I have 75FPS in Zibo mod at gate. And in total sim only using 3.15Gb of VRAM and 1251 textures in total.

    Canada4XPlane is happy to bring you this freeware package including the city of Vancouver skyline, downtown center, coal harbor seaplane base and many more. This package was developed to use and work alongside our CFXP - CYVR Vancouver airport package, but It will also work seamlessly with default terrain.   4. MWCR Scenery pack XP12 only

    This is XP default gateway scenery of MWCR Cayman Islands, from 2018.
    I have cleaned up most of the airport excessive nodes and merged polygons and taxiways, added groundvehicle-routing and taxiroutings.
    I have corrected linemarkings and converted to XP12 art assets. Because I converted all assets to XP12 this scenery assets WILL NOT work in XP11 or older. There is NO backwards compability.  This edit has saved me VRAM as well increased the FPS.
    I run my XP12 with moderate graphic settings with a NVIDIA 3080 card. My vegetation and objects settings are also set to medium. 
    The purpose of this edit is to save VRAM and increase FPS and making the default scenerys more FPS friendly.
    Validated in WED 2.5.2 without any errors. In my default Cessna at gate I get whopping 160FPS(!) see image. And with this scenery on my PC, it only uses 2Gb of memory. If you like this edit then please give a thumbs up. If you encounter any problem then please give feedback.

    This is XP default gateway scenery of KLAS Harry Reid Intl Los Angeles from 2023.
    I have cleaned up most of the airport excessive nodes and objects, merged taxiways and draped polygons. I also removed and corrected hundreds of nodes of lines.
    Because I also removed Airport boundary this scenery WILL NOT work in XP11 or older. There is NO backwards compability. The reason is that in XP12 the airport area are defined in the new mesh classification and therefore does not need any airport boundary or elsewhere exclusion zones. This edit has saved me VRAM as well increased the FPS.
    I run my XP12 with moderate graphic settings with a NVIDIA 3080 card. My vegetation settings are also set to medium. 
    The purpose of this edit is to save VRAM and increase FPS and making the default scenerys more FPS friendly.

  18. KPIT - Pittsburgh International Airport 2022 Edition

    This is scenery for KPIT, I referred to the 2022 model of the airport where it is in mid construction point to having its new terminal. With the new construction the back of concourses C & D lost their gates for new terminal. The Pittsburgh scenery I'm making is a WIP there will be future updates to it later.

Located about 10 miles west of downtown Pittsburgh, it is the primary international airport serving the Greater Pittsburgh Region as well as adjacent areas in West Virginia and Ohio. The airport is owned and operated by the Allegheny County Airport Authority and offers passenger flights to destinations throughout North America and Europe. PIT has four runways and covers 10,000 acres.
    First opened in 1952, the airport was initially served by five airlines and became a small hub for Trans World Airlines for over two decades. The airport underwent a massive $1 billion rebuilding and expansion which was largely designed to US Airways' specification so it could become one of their major hubs. Completed in 1992, the new airport was one of the most innovative in the world, dubbed the "airport of the future" and helped to pioneer modern airport design with its X-shape to reduce distance between gates, underground tram to transport passengers around the airport, and array of shopping options, all of which were cutting-edge at the time. Traffic peaked at 20 million passengers in the late 1990s, and US Air peaked at 542 flights and 11,995 employees at the airport in 2001, and the airport was an important pillar of the Pittsburgh economy. US Air declared chapter 11 bankruptcy twice in a row, and abandoned Pittsburgh as a hub in 2004, eliminating thousands of jobs and nearly bankrupting the airport itself, which was built largely to suit US Airways' needs. However, US Air's diminished capacity at Pittsburgh opened the door for other airlines to expand operations and better serve local Pittsburgh-area passengers rather than focus on connecting passengers.

  19. FlyTampa Bridge Patch

    I know we all hated the FlyTampa floating jet bridges in X-plane 12. After countless emails and comments to fly tampa over a six month period, they never seemed to care about the customers who bought it for XP11 and are switching to 12. They seem more focused on MSFS stuff at the moment so who cares. I decided to fix it myself. Sooooo here ya go folks this is the patch for FlyTampa-Las Vegas Jet Bridges back in the OG positions. All bridges are maxed out to there full length so they will reach the doors of your aircraft. Just make sure you own a legal copy of the payware scenery before you download. This will not work with any other scenery except a legally purchased FlyTampa Las Vegas.
     
    To install this patch you must OWN a legal copy of FlyTampa-las Vegas
    Step 1: Locate your Custom Scenery Folder for Xplane 12 Step 2: Find the folder labled FlyTampa_LasVegas_0_airport Step 3: Make a backup of Earth Nav Data to a new location just in case you dont like the changes Step 4: Put the downloaded Earth Nav Data in the patch to your FlyTampa_LasVegas_0_airport folder Step 5: Paste SAM xml file inside the folder named FlyTampa_LasVegas_0_airport That is it. No need to be bugged out now. See how simple that was.
     
    Disclaimer for some reason the jet bridges like to change their "height" with angles of the whole bridge instead of the lifting arms on the bridge so they do this weird tilt thing. I have no control over that and don't know how to fix it. that's all on flytampa part. I only changed the location of them so they would be connected back to their correct positions instead of floating around like a bunch of random objects.

    Little Rock National Airport, also known as KLIT, is Little Rock's main commercial airport. The airport was named after Bill and Hillary Clinton in 2012. The airport serves a variety of Delta, American, United, Southwest, and Frontier service, but has a limited variety of cargo, with only UPS.

  22. Ulukhaktok/Holman Airport (CYHI)

    Ulukhaktok/Holman Airport is a small gravel airport located 3.7km north of the town of Ulukhaktok, which sits on the west coast of Victoria Island, Northwest Territories, Canada. Two airlines make regular flights to this airport: Canadian North, with flights from Yellowknife, and Kenn Borke Air (operated by Aklak Air) with flights from Inuvik.
    This scenery package has been recreated off of the limited imagery available on the Internet, meaning that the airside is accurate, as is the roadside part of the terminal; however, the roadside part of the hangar is recreated based off of assumptions, and may not be fully accurate. The objects are fully custom and ship with custom PBR textures to go along with them. HDR night lighting is also included in the package.

  24. Dease Lake Airport X Plane 11

    Welcome to the Dease Lake regional airport. The airport is one of the northern most paved runways in British Columbia. Central Mountain Air operates many charters in and out of the airport for the various mines in the region, however, currently the airport has no scheduled commercial service due to it not meeting Transport Canada safety standards. Renovation work is underway to fix that issue though. YDL also hosts a base for the wilderness charter company Tysayta Air, and a hanger for the helicopter company Yellowhead Helicopters.
    This airport does use SAM Seasons and therefore you will need to install SAM3
