  1. No, you don't have the right to know of when the release of the update is. You bought the version available at the time of purchase not the right to update or any knowledge surrounding the process of development. Your issues with current versions of xEnviro is between you and the shop you bought it from. Not xEnviro. If you are dissatisfied with the product then you have to deal with the place of your purchase. We don't "owe" you anything and you have no rights in demanding anything from us. We will not give you the information of release since that is not public knowledge.
  2. This topic is for development screenshots. Other topics go in other threads.
  3. We are still at b20 which is a test specific build before assembling several parts for b21. And the b20 build is without clouds in near sector so it's a cloudless screenshot dump this time around. So have some atmosphere, haze and sky color shots

  6. mid b20 wip - lightmodel soon to be finished and locked.
  7. You don't just go and copy nature and expect it to be easy As mentioned before we are locking down the light model. This is tedious and very sensitive to adjustments. Here are some b17 examples to how the sky differs from day to day and hour by hour - even minute by minute. So to anyone telling us that "this blue is wrong" or that haze looks wrong or what ever you think needs adjusting - it's a living thing. That blue you think is wrong is just the combination of weather and climate data + time of day and year. So if the day isn't to your liking you may find that another day is. And if that isn't enough - use MaxxFX or other color correction add ons to tweak it. This is basically what you get from xEnviro in the future. xEnviro takes everything in to calculation. And some times you struggle. Like the temperature of the color blue created by light broken down by the Ozone layer. Which is a huge part of why we preceive the sky as blue. Locking down the light model might take some time... I just love the underlit clouds though. And once we have locked the light model we're off to the races with bug squishing and cloud shaping. Yay
  8. Yes.. The clouds are affected by wind. Both in form and movement.
  9. Took the Pocket Rocket for a ride in B15. Will be more of those rides. This plane is a BEAST! (not yet available - beta by Torquesim and AFM)
  10. We are waiting for b17 to get finetuned and compiled. B16 was an intermediate test version of some parameters that got tweaked. The lighting model has been through a (hopefully) last round on Andrey's alchemy bench. Many of the elements built and tested during the test verision period is coming together now. These weren't possible without the beta teams efforts to report bugs that had to be ironed out before these models are "set in stone". So - we don't have any new screenshots yet, but we have some more from b15.
  11. Definitely will do that. We do want xEnviro to work in as many scenarios as possible. We're just in the middle of finalizing some basic features after beta testing those and have to concentrate on finishing 1.10. Then we will take on the rest of the road map. Preferrably after a short break
  12. I have moved this in under the xEnviro Club since it is most fittting as a feature request for xEnviro. To answer your question: xEnviro seasons will probably not require any other developer to do anything for it to work. It will alter existing textures or add it's own elements completely on it's own. There might be some details that have to be compatible, but that is not public info at this stage and does require not any other elements than the datarefs given on the xEnviro website. At least not as we know or disclose at this point. We will have more info on eventual further dependencies when we start the process of developing the seasons package. DATAREF LIST env/active Type: integer Range: 0 ... 1 Reflects the operational status of the plugin. env/rain Type: float Range: 0.0 ... 1.0 The amount of rain at the current aircraft position. env/snow Type: float Range: 0.0 ... 1.0 The amount of snow at the current aircraft position.
  13. I did not say that. I said it is not compatible now and that is something we need to work on. I know many use xprealistic. I do too and we sell it in the Threshold store. So we naturally want it to be compatible.
  14. Update: right now. We are finishing the light model. Haze has been corrected since it was a bug producer. (one of the factors of the wait between b14&15) Now we're finishing the light model and locking it down. This will take a day or two hopefully. And then all steam concentrates on bug squishing. ETA is still not disclosed and we will never endulge in that public trap. But for anyone telling people that 1.10 is "full of bugs" and won't be released in 2019 is just attentionseekers and should be ignored. We are on track and we are crossing off items as planned.
  15. Come on. I have been flying through clouds in many of the latest videos. Where is this even coming from. I even fly through the top of one in the latest one. And what are you looking for in the first place? It's volumetric clouds. You fly through them.. simple. As for cloud types: as Xephyr days and has been mentioned continously in both streams: cloud types are limited now but will be more of later. With that said cloud thickness of the cloud type you see in xe depends on ceiling and base from weather data so no, there is no "lack of thickness" In the clouds you see in the video. And it accurately represented the weather of South Britain during flight.
