distoxx
Hello, I'm making an airport in Lapland and it's obviously full of snow in Winter. With SODE I know that it is possible to display some objects/ground polys accoding to seasons, is it possible to do so with SAM ? I want my airport to be full of snow in Winter (with ground poly) and also my buildings to have snow on the roof (with an .obj file). If I create them and add them in my scenery can something allow me to display them ONLY in the winter and in the summer they'll be replaced by grass for example ? I'm a beginner and it's my first scenery so any help would be welcome. Thank you, Florent
Marten@Stairport
Hi Florent, You don't need SAM to do that. There is a dataref indicating the month sim/cockpit2/clock_timer/current month (1-12) and the temperature sim/weather/temperature_sealevel_c (degrees Celsius). You can animate your objects with Anim_hide depending on these datarefs to appear or disappear. Greets Marten
