Keyboard activating simulator actions when looking for weather

Hi all,

I am just trying the new  update, and when using the xEnviro Toolbar within MSFS and typing anything on the weather, it also activates the actions for the simulator, e.g., L will type L within the textbox and activate the lights, G the landing gear, etc. I need to use the external one for now.
