  1. VCBI Scenery pack XP12 only

This is XP default gateway scenery of VCBI, Bandaranaike Intl. Sri Lanka from 2021.
I have cleaned up excessive nodes, objects and merged aprons, taxiways, and linemarkings.
Because I converted all art assets to XP12, this scenery WILL NOT work in XP11 or older. There is NO backwards compability.  This edit has saved me VRAM as well increased the FPS.
I run my XP12 with moderate graphic settings with a NVIDIA 3080 card. My vegetation and objects settings are also set to medium.
The purpose of this edit is to save VRAM and increase FPS and making the default scenerys more FPS friendly.
Validated in WED 2.5.2 without any errors. In Cessna at gate I get whopping 115FPS(!) see image.
If you like this edit then please give a thumbs up. If you encounter any problem then please give feedback.
This airport was edited by using Bing maps, ESRI slippymaps and Jepessen Charts. This airport will be submitted for evaluation and approval on gateway.x-plane.com

  6. RKSI - Seoul-Incheon International by Zero Dollar Payware

    Welcome to Seoul, South Korea!
Incheon International Airport (RKSI/ICN) is the largest airport in South Korea, and is the primary international airport serving the Seoul metro area. It is one of the largest airports in the world and is one of the busiest in terms of both passanger and freight movements. Being a relatively new airport, it is built mostly on reclaimed land and implements some of the most modern technology found in airport design. Whether you want to fly a short hop across the Korean Peninsula or an ultra-long haul to one of many airports served from ICN, this scenery will suit all of your needs.
Important note for anyone using AIRAC data from June 2021 or later
You must install a modified version of the airport data in order for the scenery to work with some payware aircraft. Because the airport recently opened a new runway while we were in development, we were unable to implement it into this version of the scenery. Because of this change in runway configuration you must install this update to allow all aircraft FMCs to read the correct approaches. The new runway will be added in the future, however we must wait for appropriate reference imagery to become available. There is no timeline for when this update will be complete.
To install, copy the Earth nav data folder from the "Scenery Variants" directory into your main RKSI scenery folder and overwrite all files. You will need to reload the sim (reloading the scenery without restarting the sim may cause it to crash or not reload correctly).
    Features
mostly custom buildings somewhat accurate layout and signage pretty good FPS optimization marginally realistic 3d grass and ortho reasonably functional custom SAM jetways decently accurate grunge and dirt fully functional AI taxi routes probably high resolution 1k textures with PBR kinda accurate terminal interiors unofficially licensed by the Incheon International Airport Corporation and BTS Required Libraries
    MisterX Library v2.0+
    SAM v2.0+
    Installation Instructions:
Download and move your unzipped rksi-incheon folder into your custom scenery folder
Use xOrganizer, or delete your scenery_packs.ini to adjust your scenery load order if using our provided ortho. If you have issues with the scenery loading, most likely your load order is wrong.
    FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Question: Does this include the new runway 16R/34L?
Answer: No, since that runway is so new we were unable to get suitable reference imagery to implement it at the same level of quality as the rest of the airport. It will be added in a future update but we have no estimated release date for it.
Question: Why can't I select an approach for runway 16/34 in my aircraft's FMC?
Answer: You are using an AIRAC cycle which includes the new runway. You must install the patch mentioned in the highlighted section above.
Question: Will this be updated to support xplane 12?
Answer: Yes, we will update this for xplane 12. Due to the unknown changes with the new sim, we are unable to estimate how long it will take publish a compatibility update once xplane 12 is released.
Question: I found a bug or issue with the scenery, who do I tell?

  9. A Bhutan Scenery | VQPR Paro Surroundings

Welcome to ASIA, the Eastern Himalayas. You are descending into Paro valley. Now you can enjoy your fly-ins a bit more from both sides. Paro Airport VQPR is close by and called to be one of the most dangerous airports on our planet. After your landing you should take a drink and move over in your helicopter or be creative in your VTOL bush plane. In this scenery awaits you over 90 helipads around VQPR. Some with windsocks + blink lights and a few without. Even two more helipads come with two fictional ICAO´s VQ01 (bottom of the scenery: alt 8,918ft) and VQ05 (at the top: alt 13,222ft). A flight between those two helipads takes over 115km (over 71mi). This scenery does not include VQPR airport! No more "talking". Prepare, enjoy your flights & have fun.

    Part of this package:
    - Paro Customized Images for the hole tile +27+89
    - Ready to fly tile zOrtho4XP_+27+089.7z
    - VQPR Paro Surroundings BHUTAN
    - W2XP Custom Bhutan
    - Left hand traffic +27+089 fix

    Needed files:
    1. VQPR Paro Surroundings BHUTAN
    2. W2XP Custom Bhutan
W2XP OSM generated, partly fixed and extended by me, September 2019.

    Scenery order - scenery_packs.ini:
Put #1 "VQPR Paro Surroundings BHUTAN" above your VQPR Airport scenery for maximum details.
Place #2 "W2XP Custom Bhutan" under your airports (Correct scenery order).
Hint for the gateway airport: Globalairports must be on top, facades exclussions are active.

Optional for owners of Orbx TrueEarth GB: Who wants left hand road traffic in this scenery - Bhutan was once a British Empire colony - just copy the roads folder (source: "Orbx_B_GB_South_TrueEarth_Overlay\roads") into the folder "W2XP Custom Bhutan" and overwrite the file for left hand traffic "+27+089.dsf" in "W2XP Custom Bhutan\Earth nav data\+20+080".

Optional for owners of Cami´s VQPR airport payware: WED fixes are recommended.
    - Delete the ortho images for better fitting with "Paro Customized Images".
    - Delete the network exclusions.
    - Close the exclusion gaps over the runway.
Hopefully Cami will realign some mismatches and close the objects gaps in her scenery area (+ adding missing point of interests).

    More HQ screenshots.

    Needed libraries:

Known issues. Fixes may happen in the future:
    - Some ortho images will need fine polishing.
    - Roads.net lights are wrong.
    - Missing object night textures.
    - Missing power lines.
    - OSM mismatches.
    - Not every real world object is placed.
    - The Heli drop-points are sadly bugged in the mountains. Both heli drops will be lightly displaced.

  10. WAFF Palu Mutiara SIS Al-Jufrie

"Mutiara SIS Al-Jufrie Airport (Indonesian: Bandar Udara Mutiara SIS Al-Jufrie) (IATA: PLW, ICAO: WAFF), formerly Masovu Airport, is an airport near Palu, the capital city of the province of Central Sulawesi on the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia. As the largest airport in Central Sulawesi, Mutiara SIS Al-Jufrie Airport serves as the main port of entry to the city of Palu as well as the surrounding area. The name airport can be separated into two part, "Mutiara" and "SIS Al-Jufrie". "Mutiara" means pearl in Indonesian, while "SIS Al-Jufrie" is an abbreviation of Sayyid Idrus bin Salim Al-Jufri, an Arab-Indonesian religious figure and an Indonesian National Hero from Central Sulawesi. He was a propagator of Islam in Central Sulawesi until his death in Palu in 1969. SIS Aljufri is also a religious figure and founder of the religious organization Alkhairaat that grew and developed rapidly in eastern Indonesia." - Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mutiara_SIS_Al-Jufrie_Airport)
This had been originally a Gateway airport I did back in 2018 to honor the victims of the 2018 Sulawesi earthquake & tsunami. It was made with the combination of configurations before and after the earthquake happened. I actually upgraded the airport over time myself with Autogate and subsequently SAM jetways, but I haven't got the chance to share it to any X-Plane downloading platform.
I intended to just upload the last upgrade I did to the airport with SAM jetways and all, but in all of a sudden I figure out this should be a chance for me to try and make custom runways with @pyreegue's ALES Developer Library. Turns out it's pretty much an interesting process to deal with and I have more flexibility in the design of the airport itself with it. So I guess it's time for me to revamp the airport with custom runways and update the airport's layout to the latest standards.
One interesting note to find is that the runway has been moved at least 200 meters towards the side of Runway 15. It's probably due to the runway's proximity to the Petobo Soil Liquefaction event area, which was regarded as one of the biggest soil liquefaction events in history, as the site itself was located about 600 meters from the old end of Runway 33. And the fact that the earthquake in 2018 also produced cracks up to 500 meters in length on the runway itself.

  11. WAHH Adisutjipto by 31ND Aviation & AA_Angga Scenery (FS2XP Conversion) with Updated Layouts

This has been originally uploaded by an org forum user back in 2018. It was a direct FS2XPlane conversion of 31ND Aviation & AA_Angga Scenery's Adisutjipto Intl scenery for FS2004 & FSX. Either due to the fact the account associated with the original upload got suspended, or that it got taken down due to copyright reasons, the file has been unavailable to download from 2019 or some sorts. I managed to download the scenery before it was taken down. For the times I used the scenery, there has been several major issues I have with the original conversion:
    - The scenery is way too out of proportions, with the layout not corresponding both with the satellite imagery AND real-world airport specifications,
    - No night lighting on the buildings due to the fact that the original scenery not having them to begin with, and
    - Misplaced buildings due to the first point.
This scenery package is a major revamp of the original FS2XPlane conversion. The revamp addressed most if not all of the issues that I mentioned above. This new scenery now features:
    - Fully reworked runway, pavement and taxiway layout to correspond the real data of the airport, mostly accurate according both to the satellite imagery and charts provided by Jeppesen.
    - Repositioned building objects corresponding with available satellite imagery.
    - Night lighting added to most building objects.
    - Additional night lighting added in the form of streetlights and apron floodlights for both military and civilian aprons.
    - Improved AI taxi routes to correspond with the latest 2020 operation of the airport according to the Jeppesen chart.
    - Removed several unnecessary objects from the original conversion.
    - The addition of windsocks and taxiway signs corresponding to the real-world operation of the airport.
    - SAM Marshallers on each gate on the civilian apron.
    - Additional eye-candy features such as new flag posts, the MiG-15 in front of the Akademi Angkatan Udara main building south of the airport (and a MiG-21 to represent a missile next to it since I haven't found a model for that particular missile in XP), catwalk connecting both the A & B terminals, abandoned Batavia Air 737-300 (represented by an FAIB XpressAir 733) on the end of taxiway NP, and much more.
Credit goes to the original author of the scenery for FS9/FSX itself, which are 31ND Aviation (Fajar Dirgan) and AA_Angga Scenery (Angga Ade Sahfitra), for the base 3D modelling of the objects and the original layout. Their contacts can be listed down below:

For legal reasons, I've personally contacted one of the original authors of the scenery in order to upload this here with his approval. Full credits can be seen in the "Readme.txt" file provided with the package, although it's all in Indonesian. Also credits to whoever it is from the org forums who uploaded the initial FS2XP conversion that prompted me to revamp this scenery from the first place.

  12. WIII Jakarta Soekarno–Hatta Intl w/ New Runway & Updated Layouts

NOTE: All orthophotos in the preview images are generated using Ortho4XP using Bing Maps as the source. You can get Ortho4XP here. Also there's no static aircraft in this scenery excluding one in the northwestern ramp, GMF AeroAsia hangars, and western hangars. Otherwise all aircraft depicted on the gates in the screenshots are from Just Flight's Traffic Global XP.
So well, I don't really do sceneries much but this is pretty much one of my first takes on it. In this scenery, I took @ysfsim's WIII scenery upgrade (with their permission of course) for the default Laminar scenery, and upgraded it again to meet current standards, at least to AIRAC 1908 standards, which was recent enough to include the new runway and most if not all new taxiway layouts that can be seen in both Google and Bing maps imagery, and the more recent charts as well. This scenery adds more features to the existing scenery which can be listed down below:

    LIBRARIES NEEDED FOR THE SCENERY:
INSTALLATION: Simply drag and drop WIII Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta Intl to your Custom Sceneries folder.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    To-do list:
    - Use Navigraph Charts subscription to update the airport layout again to the most recent standards.
    - Complete the taxiway edge lines for the entire airport (I tell you, it's quite of a pain to deal with).
    - Addition of custom models of Terminals 1 & 2, Cargo Terminal, GMF AeroAsia hangar, Tower, and much more from @Bluffy Designs-BDs conversion of Budi Santoso's WIII for FS2004/FSX.
    - and many more...

  13. Sea2Sky - ZeroDollarPayware - Tokyo Narita International (RJAA)

After 21 months and nearly 800 hours of development, Sea2Sky in cooperation with Zero Dollar Payware are pleased to announce Tokyo Narita International airport V1.0  is officially released!
    About this project:
I initially started this ambitious project knowing absolutely nothing about scenery development. I quickly realized I may have bitten off more than I could chew. Over the first year, many iterations were completed before deciding on a version that fit my liking. Majority of my time was learning new techniques and gaining valuable feedback from other talented developers. About a year into development, I was approached by @StableSystem from Zero Dollar Payware. We agreed to partner up as they have great experience with scenery design and texturing\modeling.
I would like to announce: I have joined Zero Dollar Payware and all scenery going forward will be released under the ZDP brand. This gives us the ability to reduce the workload on specific projects while focusing on what we are good at. Expect an announcement of our next scenery soon! (Hint: It's within 3 hours of Narita).
Always appreciated the amazing scenery others create and wanted to give something back to the community. I hope all of you enjoy the work we put into this project.

    - Built from the ground up
    - Custom Mesh
    - SAM Jetways and Docking Guidance Systems
    - Custom textured Jetways to match real counterpart

  15. Beijing Nanyuan Airport (ZBNY) PC

Uploaded by Captain Kitten for @Eric Xu at Star Atlas
So, here it comes, ZBNY, Beijing Nanyuan Airport!
As a China-based studio, this is the first scenery that we’ve published internationally, quite ironic huh? This one over here is actually the 3.0 version of ZBNY since the previous two versions were published domestically due to both political reason as ZBNY was served for both civil and military.
Nevertheless, we’ve decided to release this one here not because we’re risk taker, but because…the airport has been closed few days ago. ZBNY was there since 1910, which is undoubtedly the oldest airport in China. As the constructing of Daxing Airport, ZBNY has lost its significance in context of providing alternative support on transportation…Nevertheless, it’s arguably not that important since China United Airline—the only civil airline who’s operating Nanyuan Airport, was quite…you know.
However, as a Beijinger, Nanyuan does have a strong emotional connection with me, or with us. Nanyuan is more likely a talkative old friend with stories to say, whereas Beijing Capital ZBAA is more likely a capable worker, and Daxing…Maybe an active youth; fashion, advanced, elegant. Back to my childhood, Nanyuan took a place in my heart, like it’s the only way to reach up the sky, it’s so unreachable, it’s like my dream to work there just because it looks cool as being a member of aviation system.
Back to the days, I could not imagine that one day, we as a team, will get the chance to capture the image of Nanyuan into a flight simulator by ourselves, and share it with the rest of the world! We’ve startup the process since 19th March, 2018, and eventually finished it up today, over one year and a half. Thanks for all those who helped us throughout the process, include all the library authors and developers especially Jonathan Harris, Marginal as known; your dedication and professionalism was foundational to our later process and progress.
Since ZBNY was released as a freeware, CC BY-SA-NC 4.0 was applied. Means you are allowed to modify, to redistribute, to share among friends, however, to follow ShareAlike. Wed.xml project file has been attached, do as whatever you like!
Nanyuan has redefined the “fine work” conceptionally throughout reality, this is definitely the best of what we can get so far, nevertheless, the path towards perfection is still quite long. So…Hope you guys like it, we shall put more effort on the upcoming Daxing Airport scenery, as the first step for us towards a sustainable finance-based operation.
For Windows user, you may go download the .zip file directly, if you want a version with no static vehicle and aircraft (for FPS boost or to simulate the closed airport), use the “Earth nav data” and replace the existing one in the scenery folder.
