British Asia Airways was set up by British Airways because in the 90's, the Chinese Government refused to give landing permission in China, for carriers which also operated to Taipei hence many airlines opening subsidiaries for their asian routes.

• G-CIVA (Later wore 'Chelsea Rose livery)
• G-CIVE (Standard British Asia Airways livery) (Returned to British Airways)
• G-BNLI (Benyhone Tartan livery)
